In the case of the hammers, it would be smart to post comments on blogs relating to home improvement. Because you are saying that you are selling hammer, the people who respond to your posts will be directly interested in hammers, not necessarily just other aspects of the topic. Since your business has an online presence, you can also pay to advertise wherever there is a niche for your home business. Even talking to people who live in the area close to your home business will help generate leads. These are all simple tactics you can use to find people interested in your business without having any advanced marketing knowledge.
